What We Do

We provide grant writing assistance, and all kinds of performance measurement and program evaluation services such as implementation evaluation, output tracking, and outcome evaluation. We also have stand-alone products and services such as our Abstinence Education Survey (AES™) and our output reporting system.  We provide reporting, measurement, and evaluation services for all kinds of social programs, and have special expertise in providing products and services for abstinence education programs.

As a general rule of thumb our grant writing assistance is free if you include us as your evaluation partner (we only write the evaluation section of the grant application); performance measurement and reporting costs about 5% of program budget; basic program evaluation and consulting runs about 10% of budget; and rigorous multi-year evaluations of behavioral impacts using randomized controlled trials (RCT) or strong quasi-experimental designs (QED) are 20% or more of budget.  For more information about each service, and for information on our survey and output reporting system, click on the links in the navigation pane at left.

Our capabilities and specialties include the following: consulting on program design, grant writing, program evaluation, research design, survey development, paper-, web-, and tablet-PC-based survey design and deployment, data entry (scanning and/or manual entry of paper surveys), data management, SPSS, quantitative data analysis, focus groups, qualitative data analysis, IRB applications, federal program reporting, teen pregnancy prevention in general, and abstinence education in particular.
